Belonging Poem
Not belonging means excluded
“You can’t play”
When you don’t belong you feel hurt
“It’s so unfair”
When you don’t belong you’re all alone
“Go away”
I feel left out when I’m playing alone in the playground
“Go play by yourself”
I feel that sometimes people in my class leave me out
“You don’t know how to play”

Belonging means being a special part
“You’re special to me”
Belonging makes you feel overjoyed
“I feel happy around you”
When you belong you act merry
“You belong in my heart”
I feel I belong with my family
“It’s lovely to see you again”
